Last-minute illustration for Anime Conji’s art contest, featuring thepiccolino’s original characters! I’ve been lustily eyeing that Copic marker prize all month and I managed to finish this in time. Incidentally it will be my first year attending, so anyone in the San Diego area should totally come by!! Anime Conji, March 16-18, 2012 at The Town & Country Resort in San Diego, CA. PS. I really hate the 8.5x11 canvas size and there was no way Naota was going to fit non-awkwardly into this composition, but I felt bad excluding him… Shoulda thumbed before I started, herp.
